11-year-old girl was raped, five people were arrested, the girl is among the accused

 

Mumbai: An 11-year-old girl was raped in Ambernath in Maharashtra's Thane district. Five people, including four minors, were arrested in the incident. Police said one of the accused is a girl. The police also stated that it was the accused girl who brought the 11-year-old girl to the main accused. In the complaint, the girl says that the main accused raped her in an autorickshaw. News agency PTI reported that the accused threatened the girl not to tell anyone about the attack.

He ran away and reached home and told his parents about the torture. A case of rape was registered under Bharatiya Nyaya Sahitya. POCSO department also charged. Inspector Jagannath Kalaskar of Ambernath Police Station said that the two adult accused have been released into police custody and the minor accused have been sent to a reform home.
